REGISTERED STUDENT INFORMATION

If you are registered for the two-day ERA COURSE, the following actions must be taken:

1. Establish a learner account.
2. Complete the online review of the textbook and PowerPoint slides and/or videos.
3. Take and pass the exam.
4. Come prepared to class with knowledge of your state’s practice act.
5. Complete the online evaluation form to receive your certificate of attendance. The evaluation form will be automatically sent when all course requirements are completed.

Upon successful completion of the ERA course, the participant will be granted a 3-year ERA certification with 20 CEUs for physical therapists* and 17.5 Cat. A CEUs for athletic trainers.

*PT credit hours may vary by state.

 

If you are registered for the ERA RECERTIFICATION COURSE, the following actions must be taken:

1. Log in to your Cogent Steps My Learner Account.
2. Navigate to the Online Training tab.
3. Click on My Online Training Modules (you will then be able to access the learning materials for your immersive course).
4. You must complete your immersive course before attending the ERA Recertification course in-person or virtually.

Transfers, Cancellations, and Refunds Policy

Transfer requests for course registration received not later than 14 days before the course is scheduled to begin will be honored at no cost provided the gaining course has capacity. Cancellation requests for course registration received not later than 14 days before the course is scheduled to begin will receive a full refund minus a $65 administrative fee. CPR cancellations will receive a full refund minus a $15.00 administrative fee. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days from the day the request is received.

There will be no refunds for no-shows or cancellations after 14 days before the course is scheduled to begin. After two transfers, ERA registrations are no longer eligible for refund. Cancellation requests must be emailed to mlweinstein@cogentsteps.net.
