Cogent Steps is honored to be working alongside the Boston Athletic Association to provide accreditation opportunities for vital support staff during the Boston Marathon
Cogent Steps is excited to announce that it has partnered with the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) to provide medical volunteers the chance to earn Continuing Education (CE) credits as part of their preparation for the Boston Marathon.
Continuing Education credits are compulsory for medical professionals to maintain their license and accreditation. This new program being offered through the B.A.A., with Cogent Steps’ support, will allow many of the 1,800 medical volunteers the opportunity to capitalize on the vital support services they provide on race day.
Cogent Steps owner, Shelly Weinstein, was quoted in the B.A.A.’s press release saying, “Like the B.A.A., we strive to educate our medical professionals and volunteers in the best practices of care for our athletes and we are proud of this relationship with the B.A.A.”
