This March, Dr. Shelly Weinstein, owner and founder of Cogent Steps, had the honor of being invited as an advisory board member at the World Athletics Endurance Medicine Conference, Level II, in Rome, Italy. Physicians from all over the world gathered for this vital training and ongoing education to continue enhancing their skills in ensuring safety at major events and implementing best practices in emergency medicine.
Dr. Weinstein’s participation at the event comes alongside the iconic Rome Marathon, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The marathon, a World Athletics Gold Label road race, weaved through the historic streets of Rome, showcasing its ancient ruins and stunning architecture. Cogent Steps was proud to have Shelly represent us at this globally recognized event, all while contributing to the advancement of race safety and emergency medical care.
